STP are Poland's Rally Car Champions!

Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Jarek Baran with team Lotos Dynamic have won the Polish Rally Championship title for the second time in a row. Overcoming extremely fierce competition, many ups and downs, seven rounds, over eighty special stages and over one thousand kilometres, they have successfully defended the title of Polish Champion.

Kajetan Kajetanowicz, Lotos Dynamic Rally Team Driver: “To win the title Polish Champion twice in a row – what a wonderful feeling! I’m extremely glad we did it and in such difficult conditions and especially with this great team. It’s a prize I wanted to give them, but really they earned it themselves through their own efforts. Congratulations to all our Rallytechnology mechanics and each team member, to our sponsors: Lotos Dynamic fuels, Lotos oils as well as STP, Subaru Driving School and Arcold and to all our fans that support us. Emotions were running high from the start of the rally and today’s first episode didn’t stop us. This was an unusual situation where the championship hinged on one rally and indeed the outcome changed from one section to another. But this just goes to show that you should never give up. I promised the fans I would fight to the last meter, the last special stage and the last round. It’s great that I could keep my promise. The entire 2011 season was very successful for us. We worked very hard to prepare for each rally and each round was not without emotion. There were good and bad moments but we achieved our goal. I’m proud that I’ve got such a team, such people who approach every rally with such passion and I trust them 100%. I can’t imagine working with anyone else. Thank you!”

Jarek Baran, Lotos Dynamic Rally Team Co-driver:  “If you want to win, you have to fight to the very end – I guess everybody knows that; but life sometimes writes unbelievable scenarios. Winning a second Polish Championship in a row is an incredible feeling even more so because this season forced Kajetan and me to the highest level of sporting effort. Subaru and Rallytechnology were perfect throughout the season and our mechanics deserve the highest praise. This result is a success for the entire Lotos Dynamic team and for our partners and sponsors. I dedicate this to all of you who throughout this last episode kept your fingers crossed.”
